    Yeah i bailed on indiana. Im done with that weather. Just played a 2 day tourney 20min from where im stayin and it was 70 degrees both days. Just got a job today also that pays great. So i guess im hangin in AZ for a hot minute.

    I would definitely try the simple solution of tube swappage.

    How many freaking tubes does that thing have? Schematic shows 6 12at/ax/7s (7025s are 5751s which are lower gain 12ax7s) plus 2 6l6 power tubes and a 5u4gb rectifier tube so it has 9?

    I can send you 6 12at7s if you like...I might even have some 6l6s but if you had a power tube problem you would know it. Generally though if a tube fails you do more than blow a fuse, the tube poops the bed pretty hard...I had one flash like a strobe and then my channel went to fuzz.

    Do you have a multimeter btw? If you can't read the voltages while the amp is running then I wouldn't even think of trying to troubleshoot...unless you like dyin. and not the disc dying type of dying.

    Tubes are kind of a black art but remember they are called valves for a reason. They either let stuff pass or they don't.

    It's kinda rare to have a bad tube more than a bad component. You could have a bad cap somewhere that causes problems.

    I'm gonna not try to figure it out right now because we are drinking absinthe and I don't know if I can trouble shoot electrics right now.

    12ax7,12at7,12au7s are the same family. Along with 5751s

    12ax7 100%, 5751 80%, 12at7 70%, 12au7 40%

    Not sure how that would affect tremolo, if you aren't using tremolo then the tube shouldn't really be doing anything so maybe that isn't the issue??

    Have you tried Mouser or Allied for fuses?

    I have a ton of 12at7s which are lower gain versions of ax7s (70%).

    I would stick with the right voltage as I believe volts and amps are intimately related.

    Yeah it was, thanks for showing me around the course! I played LL red and blue after that, but the next morning it was raining so I went north to avoid it and didn't get to play gold or white. We should meet up in Lebanon or Indy area in the spring. Talk to you later ~ Adam
