Twin Falls ID has some fun courses. Green River UT has a nice course on the ball golf course $5 green fee, $5 for the cart. Also, the River Bend course near Grand Junction CO is great.

There is some good advice here that will help you develop your game. I think if you want some instant results go get a fast understable driver, lots of turn. I suggest a roadrunner, or a TD.
