Clearing done. Baskets in. A group of us will test drive the course in 2 weeks to give feedback. Not sure who did the design. Glad to see progressive municipalities investing back to the community.
The Answer
Dear Jukeshoe...I have the answer you seek albeit 2 years after posing the question. I accidently found this thread when doing a forum search for my missing DG buddies (mentioned below).
I scanned many of the answers which ranged from ridiculous to near accurate. The origin of...

Excellent course
Great mix of technical and open shots. minimal but effective/enjoyable elevation changes. I like courses that force accurracy by having very difficult recovery shots. This course could be very maddening if you are not on your game.
Very well maintained by the local DG...

Tough and challenging
One of the best courses I've ever played. The park is beautiful with the DG course having all the room it needs to be a championship caliber course. Kudos to the local disc golf community that helps take care of it. Great mix of holes in a very scenic elevation-changing...

Good mix on this course
NIcely maintained by both park personnel and the local disc golf community. I played on July 1st; 12:30 PM. Hot and sunny day. The grass was freshly cut. The all-access for 9 holes is unique; I've never seen that before...very nice concrete pathways leading up to and...

Truly Unique
Fantastic golf course coupled with a one-of-a-kind, unique location and atmosphere. I had read all the reviews ahead of time but was completely unprepared for how SOLID this course was. Some courses are limited by the terrain they are in...open, wooded, mixed use recreational and...

The VineYards...no I was not a "finals" player:thmbdown:
I remember following the guys and wishing I was playing too. Back then, rollers were the rage and on a freshly cut ball-golf course, man you get some serious distance!
Thanks for the help...I've...
I am trying to update my profile and cannot find what courses were played in Cincinnati during the 1988 Worlds Championships. I've web searched until I'm blue in the face.

Good Beginner Course
1) Very nice land despite being next to soccer fields and a pool. 2 holes have nice elevation.
2) Good mix of short and intermediate distance
3) Beginners will like the course
4) Close to town (Jacksonville)
1) The tee markers are those in-the-ground-caps. Makes cutting...

Best land for a DG course I've seen in years
The Land. This park has beautiful terrain. Great elevation and mix of woods and open. The course design takes advantage of the elevation by requiring hyzers uphill and down as well as a few anhyzer tee-offs.
Gravel tee pads. They have got to go...

Old times there are not forgotten
There are a few challenging holes.
Too much activity in this park. I dont mind sharing space with other park users; but enough is enough.
This was once "the" course to play back in the late 80's. Once Chastain and Southern Tech were closed...and prior to Redan...
