What a great time! Highbridge was the fullest I've ever seen it. We were the only ones at Mont du Lac. 6 hours of raw fun! I like how WC #1 is up the hill further. 3 n 4 are lil weird still, but everything after is amazing. Hitting chains on 7 n skidding into the pole on 16 were my highlights Be back up next year, you'll have to show me around Spirit
Thanks for the update! Too bad we won't hook up this round, next time for sure. If you come down towards the Fox Cities to play Rollin Ridge, O'hauser, or Appleton, hit me up
Hey Man
Going up to Mont du Lac! on the 12th. I was only ever there before in '12, week after 4th of July, when there was fresh landslides all over the course. So I'm wondering what's the layout nowadays? Did it go back to pre-flood setup, stay the same, something new?
Dan
The last thing I want to do is to explain to my wife how I got shot on a disc golf course. My plans changed slightly; instead of heading up to hunt on Friday, I am heading up there this afternoon instead. If it is better to play on Friday instead of Sunday, let me know. I will just swap days that I will hunt and play.
Right now I am strongly considering Sunday morning. I am not sure of the time yet because I will be leaving from there to head straight home. That means I will need to pack up everything before I head out to play. Mont du Lac is about 35 minutes from my cabin. I am thinking a safe bet might be 11am.
Not for a little while planning on coming up when I get a couple things in order I'll definitely let you know when I do plan on coming up though! Hope all is well up there
same man wanting to get back up to Duluth pretty bad, hopefully I'll be back up this coming weekend or the following week! I don't have a phone or anything anymore but I'll shoot you a message before I head back up. when I get back I'll be picking up my season pass and camping out at mont du lac for the remainder of the summer. Been playing around here when I get the chance to, I hit an ace on hole seven at the wahpeton disc golf course yesterday! It's one of my favorite holes the basket is stuck in the center of four weeping willow trees. You been playing a bit lately? whats new with you/ the disc golf scene around duluth?
