Great beginner course
Only course for miles. Well manicured and good baskets. Park for kids and family picnics. Practice pin. Elevation changes. 2 concrete pads per pin and marked with colored tiles (red & blue).

Great practice course. Original layout is wide open and improves your short game. Some trees and rolling hills. Alternate course layout is much more challenging and throws through tree lines and increases course distance by more than double.

Fort Buhlow DGC
Concrete pins. Moderate to difficult pin placement and high degree of shot selection. Camping, boat ramp access, softball field, municipal airport. Play park for kids. Tabernacle for picnics or family reunions.
Park closed at 1930 (only a problem in the summer hours)...
I would have to write notes in sharpie on my discs if I carried as many as some of you guys: "this red destroyer hiccups a bit more than his blue brother". I take 3 discs in hand, and if I remember, I'll tuck a towel in my shorts waist. Thomas Gray got it right, "..."ignorance is bliss..."...

Diamondhead
Great Practice course. Every hole is a possible deuce. I've deuced 7 of the 9, and haven't the other 2 cause I putt like a girl. Challenging basket placements in an around creeks, fencing, and woods. Great course for beginners. Best score for me is -5 in 9 holes and -6 in18...
