Ah. That is definitely nicer than what we are looking at down here, in rain central. That changes some things!

I would come up if you want to forgo any tournaments and just play play play... I am in new course mode for this weekend. If you really want to do that tourney, I can postpone to a later date. I will leave it up to you.
    Yo man.

Looks like the weather is going to be garbage this weekend, eh? Probably going to have to postpone the Minnesota trip, I play badly enough without wet discs and two layers.

Sucks... I was really looking forward to it, but I also want to do it right.
Hahaha yea, Not sure we knew you were going to be a devils glen or we woulda just hooked up there. I have a feeling we'll see each other somewhere!
What's goin on man, just ran into you on this site, pretty sure your that same guy that my group ran into at middle park with your pup. Hope your travels are goin good. Hope to see ya back in the quad cities!
IDGC is a biggie on my to do list. We keep talking about a family camping trip up there one fall.

Hope you enjoy it. I'll get there eventually.
Hey! So where are you now?
My wife and I are getting a cabin for a week in Gatlinburg in Oct. I was looking at a couple of private, by arrangement only, courses within road tripping distance. If you have played or are planninng on playing any of these, could you give me you personal opinion on them?

    Sugaree, Linville, NC

Elk Mountain Disc Golf, Plumtree, NC

    Harmon Hills, Fall Branch, TN

    Fossil Hill, Greene County, TN

    Thanks
    Heathen
sup man, hows the road treatin' ya? saw your review of west lake and the local courses, great to see you had a good time. i still owe forest a beer!
You didn't miss much skipping those Pascagoula courses. Shepard was decent, but the IG Levy park course was difficult to follow, even with a map, and the tees were hard to find and unmarked. Made up a tee on a couple of them.

Glad you got to play Blue Angel before you left. It would have been a shame to miss the best P'cola has to offer.

    Later
I took the family on a little road trip to MS today and played the two courses in Pascagoula. Shepard State Park had a pretty decent course.

Did you get to play Blue Angel before you left P'cola?
    How did you like them?
Hoping you'll be here tomorrow! Flyboy is still not 100% but i'll find it for sure by mid-afternoon tomorrow probably.
Congrats on Silver! Keep up the awesome reviews, I really enjoy reading your thoughts, especially since your taste in courses seems pretty similar to mine.
There you go . . I voted last night and may have been that extra unique voter that got you over the edge!!! Now you are Silver. Gold is a few months away and Diamond, well time will only tell.
I see you'll be coming to Pensacola soon. I'll be getting home on the 11th. and can be free to play most any early morning from the 12th on.

The Pirate's cove and Gator links are my home courses, Would be happy to play guide.
Just played UIS DGC in Spingfield, IL. Thought I recoginized Forrest in those pics. Finally got a day off, or had to drive the rental car from St. Louis back to Chicago and played 6 little 9 hole courses. Hope to bump into each other again soon.
Hi! Just read your West Lake IA review. Totally agree. Iplayed it the day before you did (also played Muscatine).I didn't see the scorecard/map so I had to hunt for next holes.) I'm surprised you didn't mention the bald eagles. I saw several in trees and flying around. I lost 2 discs. that course kicked my ass, but it was great.
We met a month or two ago one cool morning at Central Park Southaven, where a few baskets had been stolen. I live down there but I'm up in Quad Cities for work for the week. I enjoy your reviews and posts. funny coincidence our paths kinda crossed again. BTW, I played Horseshoe Canyon in Jaspar AR too. I love the courses in that area (Russelleville, Almo, Fort smith)
    I envy your traveling. Enjoy.
