    I love talking about the courses I've played, if you have questions, comments or disagreements with my reviews I want to hear them.

    Here are some of the criteria I focus on when reviewing and rating a course:

    Design: Good balance of long/short and left/right/straight holes, good use of property features, risk/reward opportunities, challenge, multi-shot holes that reward excellent drives with fair landing zones, appropriate challenges for the intended skill level

    Beauty: Seclusion, nice views, well maintained property, elevation changes, mix of different levels of foliage

    Amenities: Level and smooth tees, tee signs, baskets in decent shape, navigation aids where necessary (course map, next tee signs etc.)

    Bonuses: Multiple tees, multiple pins/pin placements, fun water shots, loops back to parking lot, active club/tournament scene

    Just saw your review and the pics of Paloma del Sol. Sad. Has anyone spoken with the parks department about the dangers of holes along/across sidewalks? I'd be happy to work on a re-design.

    LI noticed you only have a couple Colorado courses on your list. Make sure you come play our amazing mountain courses before you hit 1k.

    Thx for the heads up on Mountain Pride. I'm hoping to take a weekday off in the next 4 months (ambitious right?) to go out and play it. The IE Courses have been stackin up while I'm been slackin off :(

    Foundation Park I might go a 5 on if/when I get a change to go back since they have better tees now. They were dirt when I was there last. Ozark is a 5 design, but I can't go 5 on a place with no signs, no tees, etc. Great course, but not the complete package. Rogers Lakewood I need to play without Juke going "This course is so awesome" in my ear every 2 minutes. I wanted to hate it just because Juke loved it.

    Just curious: You have played most of the courses I've played. I have never given a course a 5 because I don't think I've played a 5, but people blast reviewers that don't give 5's. Your honest opinion: Where on that list of course I've reviewed are the courses I should give a 5?
