HOD 6/8/2021: Indian Oaks Hole #18 Marengo, IL

I've played this and I like this hole. Not a lot of holes like it.

    Ticks and permethrin

No reason why you can't use both. I treat my clothes with Permethrin (as well as other outdoor items like hammocks / tents / etc) and I also use Deet. Permethrin affects the nervous system in insects, causing muscle spasms, paralysis and death. Deet is just a deterrent. Side note: Permethrin...

HOD 10/8/2018: Ghost Town Hole 1 in Russell Gulch, CO

I've played this hole a few times. Every time I've been short. Closest I've got was a Truth on a very slight hzyer. There's quite a few fun holes on this course. Has anybody switched back to a shoulder bag?

I actually just switched back mainly for storage size in trunk of car reasons. It's faster on and off, and yes, i do pull out my putter while on. That said, I miss having the extra discs and probably will switch back.

    [Wanted] Tridents?

You and me both! I did find two Opto's lately in red and neon yellow on ebay... There's a few gold lines out there on various websites, but usually black or pink. I think I've seen a few white (and they take orange dye pretty well)

[MVP] Tenacity vs. Vanish vs. Catalyst

I'm a huge, huge fan of the Mayhem. It's significantly outdrives any of the other MVP/Axiom discs i own (and i have a lot). My arm speeds puts me in the 165-169 range, but it fights wind like other brands 175g discs. FYI Proton seems to be a bit more stable than the Neutron.

    The Canyons, Lockport., IL

I think Fairfield gets the slight edge on Canyons. I recently played both with no previously heard hype and enjoyed Fairfield slightly more due to elevations changes and more varied layouts. That said, they are both amazing courses!
