Review by rlangton in course Rice Park

2.00 star(s) Decent short course Short holes, good for practicing accurate mid-range shooting. Easy to play in under an hour. Good disc-catchers, concrete tees. Park is well maintained/mowed in the fairways. Short holes. Most shots play very similar, straight ahead with a very slight curve to the right...

Review by rlangton in course Crestview Park - West

3.50 star(s) Good Course Crestview is a nice course nestled back in a fairly wooded park with very large, mature trees. The 18 holes offer a variety of shots and distances. The pins are moved pretty regularly so you never know what you'll get. Concrete tees are nice and long, baskets are nice. The park...

Review by rlangton in course Sioux Passage - Original

4.00 star(s) Great Course Rolling hills, nicely wooded, beautiful park. Very good course design, varied challenges. Several of the holes go back in the trees. Most holes are pretty open with baskets strategically placed to provide a challenge (often in a group of trees or in a clearing cut into the...

    Help understanding push putt.

For those who haven't yet realized it (which seems to be just about everybody), the expert village videos are obviously a joke, and pretty funny IMO.

    Tourney Division vs Fee

I don't disagree with splitting up the Pro/AM tourneys... aren't a lot of them done like this already? (the bigger ones anyways)

    Tourney Division vs Fee

I'm only there for the competition. I could care less if I win or what I win, as long as I'm playing the best I think I can. I always play a division higher than I should be in also because I think I learn the game better that way. Who cares about people who sandbag for merch? Whatever. If...

    Learning to throw discraft

Learn to throw a putter. It'll be worth it in the long run. Go out and play a round with just a putter and nothing else.

How to get more distance out of drives

    Spelling, you're doing it wrong.

Um, Maybe the most UNIQUE prep?

How does that work? I don't get it. It looks very uncomfortable and completely counter-productive. If somebody could explain what exactly he's doing or gaining from that approach I'd love to hear about it.

    First Tournament

Very nice job! You did well. I'll make others feel better about playing their first tournaments... My first tourney I played Rec and scored a 78 and 86.. I placed last (out of about 30) and was 13 strokes behind 2nd to last. My second tourney I played Intermediate and scored 75 and 72.. I...

Why can't I throw stable drivers?

Whoever says a Wraith is understable hasn't thrown a Wraith. I have the same problem the OP has with it.. I have to throw it with a big anny to start and it still won't go straight for any distance.

got hit by my first disc today

Seriously, don't be mad at the people who hit you.. unless you could tell they saw you and were riding your back-end all day. It happens.

    Hyzer Flip Disc?

Hmmm sounds like I need to beat-up my wraiths! I'll throw them under my car on a gravel road tonight ;)

    Hyzer Flip Disc?

Wraiths for Hyzer flips? LOL. If you have a monster arm. I doubt most players can hyzer flip a wraith. Sidewinders, Roadrunners, SS Avengers, these all work great for me for Hyzer flips. Valkyries if I'm throwing pretty well. I could never get a Wraith to Hyzer flip, I'm lucky if it goes...
