In tournaments I always play a safe game. I only throw shots/lines I've practice an am comfortable with. On tight holes, I throw a buzzz no matter how long it is. I'd rather take a 3, then hit an early tree and get a 4 or 5.

I live in the city, far from any courses so I end up playing all over the chicagoland area. You should check out the DGCR meetup forum, there's a thread called Illianasconsinigan members and we get meetups together fairly often. -
