    Sounds similar to my experience. It's a shame that those internet audio lectures don't get more use. His book on Eastern Philosophies is pretty good, there is one Hindu story that blew my mind, I wish I still had the book to give you a reference. "The Taboo on knowing who you are" wasn't as good, but there was enough really good paragraphs to keep me going. (You know the ones that make you sit and think about what was said for... days)For the most part I liked his audio lectures the best.

    It's too bad Slowdive was kind of eclipsed by MBV in the shoegaze scene.
