    Other info

Hmmm, not sure how to describe my playing level, I have played with many ranked players and can hang with them(rarely to i win), i believe i have a very good understanding of the game, built my own private course(Shu Pond), and helped design one(Mikel J. Wittkopf Memorial). I mainly just play cause i love the game and enjoy the hole traveling player gig!!!!!

DAMN you got your gas money's worth for sure! how is the stanley course and the pioneer? Did you hit all 36 at Tower? Man I love that course but it is quite a challenge... can get frustrating.
Nice shooting with you today. I threw another full round there, and then another 14 (emptied my bag on a couple too) before I decided to go home. the 2nd round I had a gallery of deer watching me ha.... from holes 16-21 they were looking at me the whole time, watching me putt and everything!! haha. I took hwy 29 home and came out right by Pamperin Park, so I figured why not get 18 in while I was right there? I shot my best round ever there (-9) all tees/holes played.
Sure I'd be willing to help. Depends on the day of course, but I wouldn't mind a work day or two as long as we can throw a couple rounds when we're done!
    Hey Casey,
Just got back from the Charlotte tour. I would be glad to get together with you to discuss options for course. A few of us may be playing tomorrow; Sat. April 2; if it's not raining. Give me a call.
    Hey Casey,

If you come down to GB tomorrow give me a call on your way. Or just let me know what course you decide on and I'll meet you there. I'm gonna pm you my # right now. peace

    Andy
I haven't made it to Pinecrest yet this year, I hear the back 9-ish holes are still really wet -- I'm not scared to go check it out anyway though. I have been playing Pamperin lately because grignon has been ridiculously busy with mass groups of high school kids. I'll let you know the next time I'm goin' disc'n, I have **** going on tomorrow... sunday I'll probably be playing disc for sure. I'd rather wait for a real nice day to come up to Shu Pond so I get the full effect!
yea.. weekends work, well.... the course is still kinda underconstruction....but play able... Yeah i been hitting it up pretty hard myself too.. my putting is also failing me as i lost my super soft wizard and its hard as hell to find Gateway this far north... and yo keep me posted if u play ne round sduring the week in GB i am always down for some rounds, usually just to to Pinecrest cuz it the closest......

    later casey
It's going! Been playing quite a bit of disc lately but my putting is just awful, gotta do something about that.

Do weekends work for you? Maybe I can get up there one of the next couple weekends. Looking forward to it.

    Later, Andy.
Haha, trust me I'm looking forward to it. I will definitely try and make your tourney if that weekend works for me! Let me know when the course is in playing condition again (I'm assuming it's down for the winter), and I'll get up to toss a round with you.
Way to get some exposure on the homepage today!! I'm assuming you knew about it but shu pond DGC is the featured course incase you didn't see.
I have changed my March/April winter plans. Was originally planning on Las Vegas/Southern Cali. Now, I'm looking at a return trip to North Carolina, SC and Georgia. Keep in touch, and let me know if you're interested. We may plan around St. Patty's day in Savannah, GA...home of second largest parade in the country for that holiday. Town should be rocking.
I guess I missed the turkey tourney... I just got your message. How'd you throw 'em? And possibly more importantly, how much beer did you drink?
I am actually going out of town, beginning tomorrow. Will be playing for 6 days; all the way down to St. Louis and even a bit west; and back. Have fun at Mosinee. Good course.
Winter park would be hard to install concreates... u'd have to hike the bags of cement up that way unless u had a fourwheeler and trailer.. I'd be willing to help, i use to lay concreate and pouring flat slabs it easy work......yea, my course is a work in progress.. using all my money to imporve and makes it kinda hard.. but i don't have it up to full ability were i could charge for it....my goal next spring is to get it up and running and asking for donations.... feel free to play my course whenever... my number is 920-373-2650 give me a hollar if ya want
Sorry man, I didn't get your message til today (don't often check my forum messages unless a PM goes to my other email). I am travelling for work and got to play St Ignace (what a blast - RUGGED goodness, I'll get a review up soon, but it's not as well balanced, varied, and unique as Winter Park).
Glad you like Winter, we aim to please (and aim WELL through those trees). We're wearing down the county about concrete tees for the blues (all red and a few new longer gold tees would stay crushed stone), but now comes the construction plan on how we'd actually get equipment and material in the woods to build them (I want to do it RIGHT because I think most concrete pads are poorly installed). This site and the positive reviews and amazing comments are really opening the county's eyes about how much of a good and unique thing the course is.
Id like to check out your course next time I can get up near Oconto.
I have a few coyotes which are awesome for distance and flight. And some rhynos which are a putt and approach but are very predictable for up shots as well.
You are Mr. Schu pond, yes? How's it goin? I went out tonight and played 30 holes in the dark; last five backwards and then forwards; three times; at Plamann Park, Appleton. They will be pulling the baskets there soon. New, back nine in at Forest Junction. Hopefully, course designer, Greg Schuh (!!!) and I are going to get there this week some time. Write back if you want to join us. I'm sure he would love to get to your course with the same family name!! Don't know what his work schedule is like; but perhaps we can make a day of it.
    Paul
I also have a nice selection of Champion plastic and some awesome LED night discs. They have replaceable batteries so you can disc all day and night. They have 2 modes blinking and solid. These discs are so fukin cool. Let me no if your intrested in some plastic.
