Review by sikaranmonkey in course Maple Hill DGC

4.50 star(s) An all out excellent course with a variety of good shots. Well marked and easy to navigate. There is an equal amount of technical and all out arm busting holes. The course winds its way between tree farm fields using the fields and wooded corridors to great advantage. All of which take great...

2.50 star(s) Look out for the dog walkers Nice terrain. Starts out with some very interesting gully shots on 2 and three. The first half of the course seems to be a bit more technical. The woods are beautiful. Giant grape vines. Second half of the course opens up for the arm a bit more. Way too much...

Good and easy to control putter

all i can say is I love my rhyno. throws on a b-line for drives. i can't control it as well as my spyder for longer technical approaches but it is super stable for me on the putts. I like the pro plastic. not as soft enough to be floppy like the ju-ju but stays grippy. otherwise i agree...

Review by sikaranmonkey in course Tully Lake DGC

3.50 star(s) Home Course Very fun course to play. Good combination of wooded and clear holes. Easy to navigate. Most woods shots are pretty cleared of debris. A lot of volunteer effort to get the course into pro shaped. The tee boxes they're steadily putting in are nice, wood bordered paving stones. A...

4.00 star(s) Right down the street from Maple Hill. Large trees in nicely wooded forest. Longer technical shots. Plays up and down a stream valley for half of the course. Just enough long drives to keep the arm limber. Nicely layed out and well maintainded. slopes of the valleys can get slick in...

    Keeping "YOUR" course clean...

sad to be cynical My local course in Tully, MA is pretty clean compared to some courses I do see. Never the less you don't have to look far to see cans, bottles, granola bar wrappers, etc. lying around. There are 2 trash cans out now at 7 and 14 and they do receive a lot of use. Here's...

    Basket Light for Night Golf

lights So far the best idea i've used is to take the glow sticks, walk the course backwards before playing attaching them to the baskets. It doesn't light up the basket but gives you a highly visible target. I love night golf.

Review by sikaranmonkey in course Devens - The Hill

3.50 star(s) technical Awsome terrain. Every shot is a technical shot. I personally love the up and down course. The course is well marked and not confusing. Maps of holes are accurate. Just fun to play. The more throws in your arsenal the better. ie; forehand, flick, s shots, hammer, floaters, etc...

Review by sikaranmonkey in course The Highlands of Conway

3.00 star(s) Worth it The terrain is awsome. The holes tend to be on the short side with more finess needed to scoot in for par. The holes are almost all doglegged and require a couple throws in your arsenal to finish well. Challenging and very enjoyable. It felt much like playing the back nine on...
