I use string with orange electric tape marking the distance. I even made a device to hold the string on the bottom of my instep target. It rolls up nice and I can take it off if I want to.

I don't have the game yet so this is pure speculation, what if you set your controls up for opposite hands. For example if your right handed set them for left handed then throw RHFH. Just a thought.

The tournaments I've played in and read about the players usually sort themselves out. This is done by putting novice on next to shortest. Advanced? on the next longest/farthest tee. Open /masters on the farthest. Peer pressure on anti-sandbagging is a good sorting tool. Don't forget tee...
