So, I am definitely playing Buckhorn at 12:30pm tomorrow. The site has decent directions...Raleigh; US 1 south to New Hill exit (#89). Turn left on New Hill-Holleman Rd. toward power plant, 2.5 miles south to entrance on right. Course is midway into park with gravel parking lot on the right. Basically, it is just south of Apex. Warning, there is water in play on 5 holes - 2 of those are pure throwovers. Playing with Royal - not sure you met him before, but it's his home course. FINALLY ! I shoot 64 at Cedar Hills most every time, down from 68 5 months ago. But it came together today, thanks to some timely tree love. Shot 62 the first round, and followed that up with a sweet 55! Bogeys on 13, 8 and 10. Birdies on 7 and 11. Great way to break 60 for my first time.

I won't be able to swing it Friday or Saturday - have the kiddies this weekend and I get them on Fridays. Probably next time I can play will be Tuesday. Remind me about bring that Roc next time we get up.
