    What's the ruling.....

    Correct.

    What's the ruling.....

One would be able to take a legal stance directly below (if a rule like a 2m rule was in affect) however the rules clearly (to me at least) state that it is impossible to legally mark the disc with a mini and be on the lower level which makes stance on the lower level a moot point

    What's the ruling.....

I think we're forgetting the actual rules for marking the lie (802.06 A-D) when marking the disc at its lie. It is actually quite specific and states that anything else is a marking violation. 892.06 "A" talks about the lie itself, "B" talks about marking the disc with a mini, "C" talks about...

    What's the ruling.....

Thanks araytx. I believe the sections you posted are the relevant ones . 802.06 B, C and D combined state B) Alternatively, the player may mark the lie by placing a mini marker disc on the playing surface, touching the front of the thrown disc on the line of play. C: When the thrown disc is...

    What's the ruling.....

Thanks curt, however in this circumstance I don't think any of those rulings are 100% relevant. Re: QA-POS-1: in this case the lie IS accessible albeit slightly dangerous to our from. The player could however take relief behind the lie and the danger would be averted. Re: QA-MAR-3: I don't...

    What's the ruling.....

This could be semantics but I disagree. A rock on a playing surface is part of that playing surface. We are talking about two separate playing surfaces.

    What's the ruling.....

Disc can be seen above the basket and to the left. If you follow the top tree trunk it is just below it and to the left on the edge. Depth is hard to see in the image but it is an overhang you can stand underneath. If you were to stand on the playing surface at basket level under the overhang...

    What's the ruling.....

I understand there is a rule that states how you may play your lie with from behind the disc itself or mark the disc and then play behind the marker, but specifically which rule states that a marker can be placed 15ft below a disc (or above for that matter) when a legal stance is available at or...

    What's the ruling.....

So you are confirming that 15ft below a disc is a valid marker placement for this situation then? And if it is, is there a specific rule that confirms this?

    What's the ruling.....

I just finished a round with a friend and we had an odd situation happen on a hole that neither of us knew what the proper ruling was. A drive off the tee came to rest on a rock overhang about 15ft above the basket. The overhang is accessible so one could play from behind the lie however it is a...

Is there any possible way to watch this outside of the US aside from pirating IPTV? Once can use a VPN however to create an account with any of the services you need a credit card with a US based address. Does the rest of the world have to wait until September to watch this via the Jomez...

Turning discs over when trying to throw nose down

Hi all, first post here on dgcr. I am currently not seeing much of a distance difference when throwing my fairway drivers and distance drivers. Generally I am getting around 375ft as an avg distance with my fairways and occasionally 400-425 with distance drivers (usually Innova Colossus and...
