I've officially opened registration for the Ace Race...you can pre-register via PayPal at www.myspace.com/ltccleveland, or mail in registration with the forms provided at the course directory at LTC.

I'm hoping for a bigger turnout this year (last year we had about 35 people), but I guess that depends more on how well I promote the event! At an Ace Race, you play a shortened version of the course (holes shortened, where necessary, to less than 250'), and everyone throws the same disc--a Discraft prototype. There are no divisions, and only 1 winner, who gets a bag with 10 Discraft discs...But to ensure more "winners," we had a raffle last year for a portable basket and a bunch of discs and gift certificates, as well as CTPs on every hole the first round. It's not really a competitive event like a sanctioned tourney; it's very laid back and a lot of fun. Let me know if you have any other questions. Oh, and good luck tomorrow!
