Just wanted to let you know about Battle for the Border: Michigan V. Ohio, dates and location have been set. Check out the thread and hope you can make it.
Oh the weather is just wonderful. I do restaurant delivery and catering, so it is good for business though. Man I haven't been out throwing in so long. I think the last time I went was mid-october. I sprained my ankle around then, and to this day its still healing. Can't wait to be able to get out on the course again, even if it has to be a snow round.
I have Saturdays off work so I should be able to make out there for the ace race at Belmont. I got all my engine problems worked out with my car and it is running pretty good now, but of course I busted a strut on the front and have to get those replaced. I should have that done by then and be able to make it out, or at the very least find someone that also would like to come out and play and get a ride with them, so hopefully I will see you there.
Thats awesome. Wish I could have made it out there. I didn't get my car back until Monday, they put another engine in it. Last night it started over heating, seems to be the thermostat. My old engine had just over 200,000 miles, this one has 80,000, seemed like a good idea, but now I just have to go through all the same small repairs that I did on the other, lol. Anyway congrats on the tourney win.
I am hoping to still make it down there, but my car hasn't been an easy fix. As we speak they should be pulling the old motor out to start putting the new, used but new to me, engine in, woot. Yeah it sucked my old one died. I am trying to convince a few folks to come and play, figure they would have a good time and I could hitch a ride. I'll let you know if I am coming as soon as I know for sure.
Hey no problem, it was a great review. I am hoping to make it out for the tourney. My car broke down this past week so I have to get that fixed, but hopefully I can still make it out. Also thanks for the heads up about the players packs, if we make it out we definitely be there early.
Man I can't wait to get up there and play those courses. I read you review of Flip and of course gave it the thumbs up, it was a great review. Hopefully I will be making the trip up there soon. There are suppose to be some other great courses in MI as well that I want to hit up.
Nice, have a great time. Let me know how flip is. I want to know if it stands up to the hype. Be safe on your travels.
Sounds good to me. I will see if I can get the day off so I can come out, sounds like it will be a fun time.
So there is no pre-registration, you just have to register on the day of the tourney? Is this a pdga sanctioned event? Either way I am going to try to get out there for this, it will be my first real tourney. So far all I have played in is weekly doubles tourneys.
Oh and have a good time up in Michigan, I haven't made it up there yet, but I hear there are some amazing courses there, and a lot of them.
I am definitely interested. Belmont is one of my favorite courses in Ohio, they locals there are great, always run into a lot of nice folks out there. Send me the info when you get it, I'm sure I can find a partner and get out there for that.
Thats awesome. That westside course is great. I've heard that all the pros are pretty friendly like that. I should have chatted him up a but, maybe next time. Did you enjoy the tourney?
