This course has 4 baskets

This course was doomed by politics. The info I have been able to gather is " when the town of Whitesville changed mayors it was during construction of this course. Baskets were already purchased course design layed out. But the new mayor saw no need for disc golf in his town. The local club has tried several times to buy or install the baskets. They were told no. Those baskets now sit inside a Maint. storage building waiting to feel plastic hitting their chains.

If in this area two other courses worth playing would be Yellow Creek Park or Ohio county park.
I would not bother with this until it is completed.
Also the one player who favorited this course was the designer. So he might be a little biased.

There are baskets there.

No markings. I found only three baskets out nine. There was no indication as to where tee pads or basket locations were. A complete and total waste of time.

Whoever is responsible for this fiasco should step up and do something about it. Either sale off the baskets or put the time, money and effort into doing this course right. I would suggest contacting the Daviess County Disc Golf Association for their input. I bet members would volunteer their time into fixing it up.
