Pros:
This is hard as there really were not any. I suppose it can be said that the baskets still exist and each basket pole is marked with a number so you could aim at them in order. The park was pleasant and quiet when we were there.
Because there are no signs or tee pads one could design one's own course and throw at the baskets from any location in any order. This would allow you to adjust the distances and the challenges and the obstacles to suit your needs.

Cons:
The baskets were not up to modern standards back when they were built and are completely falling apart now. We just played them as targets because in most holes getting the disc to land inside the "basket" and stay would be impossible.
There are no tees, tee pads, or even worn areas of grass to indicate where to throw from to start the hole.
If you play the holes in the designated order they are all fairly short and straightforward.

Other Thoughts:
We were in Sullivan in order to pick up an order of discs that were misshipped to the Sullivan Post Office instead of to Champaign. Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason I can think of to drive to Sullivan to play this course. It definitely has potential if somebody wanted to put the time in to updating it and maintaining it but even then it would be never be anything more than a recreational park course.

Pros:
This course is located in a small town park and is close to a school. I'd like to believe it exposes disc golf to new group of people. There are scattered trees and is a good beginner course. There is no place to lose discs unless you throw into the pond. Park near the small building with restrooms. Hole #1's basket is the one closest to the pond.

There are no marked tee pads or signs. Once we found the baskets we made up our own tees.
Although I give an A for effort on the construction of baskets they are in bad shape. Some chains are not hanging properly and need some maintenance. They were intsalled very high so you are putting up compared to a standard disc golf basket. They went cheap on the chains and got smaller ones. They don't catch all that well.

Do not travel out of your way to play this course.
I actually made one of these baskets in 2001 prior to some of the newer cheaper portable options. At the time it was a pretty good option. Now i'd suggest just buying a cheaper portable offered by innova or dga.

Pros:
-Wyman is a short recreational course that was made for cheap. The baskets look like they were made by maguiver trying to disarm a bomb while escaping the clutches of a villain. It's actually pretty amazing that they are still standing, if the course was actually made in 2008.
-The baskets are definitely a pro in that they look like they were made in someone's garage with stuff they had lying around. It looks like they were made with the top 4 inches of a 55 gal. drum. On the bottom was some chicken wire attached with zip ties to make the catching part of the basket. Moving up the pole there were 12 or so light weight chains attached to the top of the basket(another 4 inches of 55 gal. drum) with zip ties. All the was firmly set in place by some hose clamps.
-The course plays through a tiny portion of park on either side of the parking lot. All baskets were straight ahead of the nonexistent tee pad (which I guessed was near the previous basket, I just threw from what seemed to be a rough spot for hole 1).
-All fairways had trees in them, although they didn't really interfere with the straight ahead nature of almost every hole (The exception was hole 7, in which there was a large tree in the middle of the fairway that you had to throw right of, or left of over top the baseball diamond.

-No designated tee pads, not a brick or sign anywhere, almost all holes had several rough patches which could possibly be tee areas, but I wasn't confident saying that a certain spot was the tee area, so I threw from the previous basket.
-The baskets, although I applaude whoever made them, were pretty terrible and with any use would fall apart. They seemed to catch ok, but I feel like 1 hard throw hitting the basket in wrong area would knock it down. Also, although it was very windy when I played, the tops of the baskets were shifting in the wind....never a good sign.

Other Thoughts:
I'm happy that a scout took the time to improve peoples recreational experience in the local park. Certainly an A for effort.
However any person who will read this should avoid this course. It's a ways off the highway and not worth the time. I would have given this course a .5 had there been designated teepads, or some sort of sign indicating where to throw from, but as such there is not and therefore, this course is just a series of numbered baskets in a park and not really a course.
