Beautiful setting and easier to follow than previous reviews have suggested. Most tees are marked with painted and numbered stumps and there were mostly Mach 2 baskets, with still a few keg tones and homemades, which I love, if for nothing more than the nostalgia. Some massive old growth Doug firs and I found most of the holes to be fairly long but wide open (350'+). Big plus, there is not much that is free in Ketchum so this floats to the top of the list. Very hard to lose a disk here, so that's awesome. Mowed fairways in a large number of cases.

Most of the drives followed a very similar pattern and were very friendly to RH BH approach. This got a little monotonous after like the 10th one, but it was a very enjoyable course in a great setting. The lack of permanent tees was a bit of a bummer, but the dirt tees helped to point the way to the right basket. An inexperienced player would have some trouble sussing out which of the three visible baskets belonged to the tee your were driving from, but experienced players will have little trouble. I think this place has great potential and a thoughtful redesign with some increased technicality could produced a seriously badass course.

Well worth the stop. I'll definitely play repeat rounds here, especially as there is only one other local choice in Hailey. It's a fun, accessible course very close to downtown.

*This course plays across an old nine hole golf course. A great setting to both learn, as well as hone your skills without losing discs, or hope.

*Dog walkers are oblivious. Pay attention to the dogs.
*Even though the creativity and hard work that went into the homade baskets is awesome, nice mach 3 baskets would improve round scores ten fold.

With a little more community effort I bet this course could shine.

-Variety of hole types, short technical, long and open, right and left breaks.
-Very well manicured, hard to lose your disc unless you throw it in the river.
-Beautiful scenery.
-Friendly locals

-No signage whatsoever; the "yard sticks" have been removed.
-Some of the homemade baskets have "tacoed" a bit and a good putt won't necessarily stay in.

I very lucky to meet a group of locals and jump in on their game, because without them I wouldn't have found a tee past hole#1. They informed me that the owners don't want signs, but course maps are available at the local board shop "The Board Bin." Everyone was very friendly, including the dog walkers who were clearly the primary users of the park. Respecting the park and other users is clearly important to ensure continued access.

- cool homemade baskets and a couple of keg tone poles

- good use of the creek and other OB
- balanced between left/right doglegs and straight holes
- keg pins make a very pleasing tone!

- tees are difficult to find for newcomers. Some more course signage would be ideal
- no map
- natural tees
- dog walkers who are clueless, as usual
- Baskets spit out putts a little too easily, and the bottom part of the baskets are a little uneven.

This course is already super fun and well designed. A few next tee signs here and there, including directions to the first tee, would be extremely helpful. Perhaps concrete tees aren't an option but fly 18 pads would be an improvement. Standardized baskets would also be an improvement, thought the current set is still really fun to play to.

This course could easily be in the 4-4.5 range with the above mentioned improvements as the setting and course design are excellent. A must play if you're in the area!
