I was just hitting a breakthrough at the beginning of summer this year- I was turning discs over! a real helix- woohoo! I was hoping to crack 300 feet, but then I went on an awesome vacation to the Philippines for over three weeks did not ouch a disc, and lost about 50 feet of drive. Hiho
But...
Odd find
I second many of the finds here; underwear, discs, weed, a cell phone, a new yankee hat, etc, But one thing does stand out...
Found a partly filled out score card from H.C.C. at the Highlands in Conway, the names on it were a threesome- Joe, Tim, and Sam.
I was playing with two...
Teebird gets my vote.
Very similar discs, but for me the Eagle does cut a bit sharper at the end of its flight.
Teebird is my straightest disc for driving and long tight fairways.
I do give respect to the Eagle- was my first driver.
I have a private course... It exsists in my mind and I am the only one who ever gets to play. BTW its an awesome course- it allows drinks and has a rainbow bridge, its own lake, a rock candy mountain, an outer space hole, an indoor hole, the BBQ pit hole, the money tree hole, the weed field hole...
I did 47 ish in one day, played a few holes as practice waiting for friends- then we played two 18's back to back, one buddy wanted to squeeze in 9 before dark so I went with. Very sore next few days.
Was fun.
Still Waiting...
I have had a found disc for about 8 months now, I have actually talked to the guy who lost it.
He wanted me to take it to the lost and found of the course I found it at, but, he only plays there Sundays, and the gym is locked up then.
So I called him back and left a message...
feedback?
I would appreciate a feedback box for the not helpful votes, to let me know how to improve in the future.
I have never been sure what about my reviews was unhelpful, or helpful for that matter, it is just my opinion of a course.
I have not yet reviewed enough to be a trusted reviewer...
Longest shot for me is about 280, I throw a Teebird, to about 200 or 190.
190 to around 80 or so Roc it.
80 to 30, I may Wolf or Roc,
I putt with an XD, I believe the grip adjust argument and have an easier time with the transition,
This assumes all flat BH shots, FH I will mix in Valk, with...
Davis Johnson!
The guy who set records in 74 thru 76 I have played with in a tourney! and he designed the crane hill golf course in wilbraham:)
Just wanted to share
I humbly suggest the Teerex's slower cousin-Teebird!
great forehander- as is a Valk, no offense to either disc, just personal choice, also of late my Monarch has been quite straight as a forehander, its champ just wearing in.
I haven't run, but I did a rush before the rain game with a friend, we did 18 in a bit over 45 min. back in the car in 50 min from when we stepped out.
I love to play before dark, I start at 7pm and throw 2-per-hole on HCC front 9, finish up about 8, just dark this time of year, nice and cool...
