if you hold the pink ones up to a light do they let it shine through at all or is it completely blocked out?

I'm thinking they're pretty opaque, I mean you can tell the light is on, but it's not like champ clear

i ask because it recently got a couple that when held up to a lamp you cannot see any light coming through. there are no shadows from your finders through the flight plate. one of them is pink and i really like the feel so i was just checking to see if either of these were the same plastic blend.
