2012 Worlds. Who should I film?

MJ is always fun to watch but I'd like to see Schweberger. Love to watch him crush thumbers and he always seems like hes having a blast. Also Seeing Big Jerm Effortlessly sidearm is fun
I've filmed Schwebby before & love the big overhead shots. The only thing bigger is his enjoyment for the game! The guy is always smiling & talking up the group. He likes to keep it fun & that's rare in the Pro game. Big Jerm is a personal friend of mine & filming him is always a treat! His creativeness & shot selection is one of a kind. I think he is one of those players that could make a living at this game.

You need to check out some of the am players also......

Paul priest(996 rated)
Brad Ramsey(973 rated)
Scott Vaughn(966 rated)
Brett Allen:D(953 rated)

All are backyard players with great chances to pull out the "W"!!!

Sorry if I missed anybody....
I only film Pro! Somebody's sister can film these guys here. When they turn Pro & start kicking some butt maybe I'll film them. Maybe! haha;)

Barsby is funny
Ulibarri is a great up and comer who I think will be the next World Champ
Nikko is alway fun to watch whether winning or losing
Brinster is a personal fav (we putt similar)
Koling is an awesome forehand player and I love to watch him FH and hate that he is so good.
Climo is a champ and I hope he gets one more Worlds before his age forces him off the leader cards
Feldberg is another personal fav and it's always fun to watch an emotional player.

That's my list
Excellent list !

There will almost certainly be a 'SuperGroup' for the live coverage. I'd suggest covering another good card.
That's my style anyway. The lead card usually has a crowd around the players. It's hard to squeeze in there with a camera sometimes. 2nd or 3rd card is usually dynamite! :hfive:

Do you want to shoot pictures of look-who-that-is or tell a compelling story? Crafting your shots will come from more than who. The other two legs of that stool are where and how.

There are unique, bristling challenges upcoming for both Pros and Ams, spread over multiple courses, many of which will get the spotlight for the first time this year.

If you just follow the top Pros and show 'em throwing oooooh-nice-shots you'll tell the same story as a hundred other guys and miss the chance for some real damn-did-you-see-that punch.

The personality of many of the 14 courses is nasty. The Nightmare, Angry Beaver, Skilborne, The Ruins and The Scrapyard are more than nicknames, and their Worlds stories will rival Nate's or Ricky's. The Pros won't even see The Scrapyard, but whoever camps out at #9 and posts on Youtube will grab more views than all the Nikko videos put together.

Your challenge will be you've only one lens with many visions to capture. What do you want people to know?
Im just looking to shoot the round straight up. I dont want to tell a story. The story will play itself out without a whole lot of extra thought from me.
I havent played all the courses being used for Worlds so my plan is to film at new places where I might play at a later date (to add to my DGCR course total :p).
Catching a "damn-did-you-see-that" shot is total luck anyway. You can't plan for great film. It either happens or it doesnt. I always tell the players: I films 'em like I see's 'em". Hit an Ace today & it will probably get filmed. Come up short on your putt & look like a weak sister. Its not up to me. It's up to the playa.
Personally I dont like those videos showing 1500 shots on one hole. It gets too boring for me. I would watch Nikko videos all day.
If anything, following one group around for the whole round will tell more of a story.
If you look at DG video today there is very little polish & refinement. While I'm no expert, over time, I am learning the skill of shooting this very unique sport. I hope to present Disc Golf in a easy to watch forum & enjoy some Pros huckin' some plastic!

My vote!!

I'm thinking this one for sure. Hopefully my drooling wont be a distraction for her :p

I saw him in an AM tournament on youtube. Even though he didn't even come close to winning, they mentioned he'd only been playing a year 3 months? Doubt he'll perform to well at this event, but later in the year and next year, if he keeps showing up to events he'll be a big name.

Don't really like his look though. Got that Justin Bieber/Emo/Surfer hair going that just rubs me the wrong way.

He lost by two strokes, how is that not close? And a 1050 rated final 9?? What tournament on youtube were you watching??

Brad and Paul are solid ams that would be worth watching. Thanks for the props but no one wants to see my form on video. And I heard rhynos were illegal at worlds this year so you don't stand a chance Brett. :hfive:

You should film Chain-Addicted annoying Feldberg, it's bound to happen.

Epic. Would make great dvd extras...

I am interviewing Scott & CA at the same time. It is going to be the best thing to ever exist on the internet.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Scott, your form would be great for the bloopers section of the DVD. :p

Go Condor!

Scott is more worthy of I than filming if the last few days are any indication. I think he kicked my butt for about four rounds running on Friday in Raleigh.
