Welcome to The Reviewer Of The Year Lists 2.0; now with additional accuracy! Shoutout to wellsbranch and mndiscg for pointing out that some reviews don't pop up automatically. The new lists are very similar but do have small differences. For instance, previously I had the lowest review count to make a list at 19 reviews (outside of 2007), but now there is not a year where our #25 reviewer is below 20.

FYI with these lists: for ties, I have members in order of total review count over all years; that was just the easiest way to do it for me.

The updated numbers did not change any placements with one notable exception: adlacro actually has 28 reviews from 2007, giving him a share of 3rd place with MattK.

jaymon1 is still your 2007 ROTY, with timg getting the silver medal, though both reviewers have their counts upped by one review. NIBSTOOLS and innovaetor also have an additional review each, remaining tied for 5th.

No other changes with this list from what I've noticed. Again, 2007 was out site's inaugural year with only about 330 members registering previous to 2008. Only our top six review counts from this year would make any list from '08 to '22.

Innovadude takes the crown as your 2008 Reviewer Of The Year. This is actually their only appearance to date on a top 25 list, so way to make it count!

Another notable user is 2008's silver medalist, DGCR #418, also known as The Valkyrie Kid (ever heard of them?). Get ready to see that name 13 more times.

2008 was DGCR's first full year, so the numbers look similar to future years, and you see more of our more prominent members/diamond level folks entering the discussion, including EricJ, DGtourist, JR Stengele, and Donovan.

kevin and Olorin are the only repeat 25ers from 2007, and this is their last time to date on a top 25 list. 2008 has eight folks who appear in other years, a stat that will continue to increase as we look at future years.

Innovadude is still your 2008 ROTY, but with 5 additional reviews in their count. DGTourist also takes solo 5th, and we now have a three way tie for 9th. We see some other slight increases in numbers that result in new ties, but no new names sneak into the list with the accurate count.

2009's Reviewer Of The Year is none other than Dave242! While every year to date other than 2007 has had at least one reviewer reach 100 reviews, Dave242 is one of only two reviewers to eclipse 200 reviews in a calendar year. This is also Dave's only year in a top 25 list, so just like with innovadude, way to make it count.

This is also the first year on the board for more notable names, including multiple diamond level reviewers. Most notable are mashnut, our site's second biggest reviewer by review count, with the bronze medal, and harr0140, our site's 5th biggest reviewer, with the silver. Other honorable mentions go to optidiscic, swatso, bjreagh, tallpaul, sillybizz, DSCJNKY, srm_520, and craigd.

At a 36 review cutoff, 2009 has the highest benchmark to make a top 25 in a given year. As we get past the first few years, more repeat reviewers will begin to dominate these lists.

And then our last revised list (let's get these revisions in for sure before my daughter decides she's bored in the womb): the top reviewers of 2009!

Dave242 is still your 2009 ROTY, but with 4 additional reviews with an accurate count. A lot of revised review counts result in new ties and some folks jumping others in rank here and there, though your top 5 are unchanged. The biggest change of note is that mndiscg now shares 25th with ERicJ, adding a member to the list.

Another thing I didn't make a note of previously is that while every year other than 2007 has had at least one reviewer eclipse 100 reviews, this will be the only year to date with thee different members reaching triple digits. This is also stll the year with the highest benchmark for entry at 36, and one of only three lists through '22 to require 30 or more reviews to be recognized.

Welcome to the mashnut era of DGCR, as not only does our site's second most prolific reviewer to date set the all-time single year record with 228 reviews, but he will also break our streak of one-and-done Reviewer of the Year winners as well. No one has topped 200 reviews in one calendar year since 2010. Notapro makes his debut on our lists as 2010's silver medalist, and we also see #19325 for the first time in bronze.

Also making their first appearance on a top 25 list is DiscGolfCraig, who recently eclipsed harr0410 to take the 4th all-time spot for reviews posted. Craig will certainly be a frequent flyer as we go through the years.

It's a Diamond party of a top 10, and a top 25 where we are starting to see people hit their 3rd or 4th year on one of these lists, with Valk being our first 5 timer. I haven't gone through and organized users by appearances on these lists yet, but it's on my list of things I'm intrigued by and will breakdown among other things when we get through 2022.

Reposado makes their top 25 debut as your 2013 Reviewer Of The Year, with Valk taking his second silver medal. Apdrvya jumps up to a bronze showing to round out your podium.

We have 14 first timers on the 2013 list, including Diamond reviewers wolfhaley, Hector Chain, and BigAl724. Wolfhaley just recently topped 400 reviews all time, and is the second-to-last top 10 reviewer on the site by quantity to show up on a top 25 list. Ryan will be another frequent flyer on our lists.

We also have our first appearance of a current Cubic Zirconium member in Chained Evil, and other trusted reviewers tkmcdougal, WSP420, Wise Fool, TheGrim, ajbova, Golden Tuna, rd.bittle, and apparition.

Mndiscg is your 2014 ROTY! I originally had this year as a tie before discovering that some reviews are hidden due to course redesigns. Not too many things changed from the wrong counts to the correct ones, but mndiscg has benefitted the most from the corrections, rightfully being added to the 2009 list and getting a solo top spot this year. Reposado follows up their 2013 top showing with a bronze medal.

We're going to really start seeing some changing of the guard between folks that primarily reviewed in the early days of DGCR and those who picked up reviewing more recently in the next couple of lists, as this is the last year we see some prominent names like six-time top reviewers swatso and mashnut, while more recent prominent reviewers will start to show up over the next few years.
