Why do cookies and disc golf go so well together ?

We have a local DG car vendor around here.
He sells two things, discs, and cookies.
Thats it.
No beverages, or score cards, or sunglasses.
Just discs and cookies.

Disc golf bags should have a cookie pocket.

How many cookies do you need for a round of 18 at your fav course ?

Does anybody have a good way to keep a roll of Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough from melting in your bag ?

Could a big cookie be used as a marker if you loose your mini ?
