Project: Los Viejos Driven by Innova
PDGA Senior Committee and the 50+ Disc Golf Club are focusing efforts on identifying and meeting the needs of the growing senior demographic.
To reward Tournament Directors who offer Senior Divisions at their respective tournaments, a contest, Project: Los Viejos Driven by Innova, has been kicked off where TD gets an opportunity to win a $250 merchandise credit from our title sponsor Innova Disc Golf. At the end of the contest, an eligible Tournament Director will be randomly selected to win the grand prize.
It gets better. Innova would like to sponsor your event with a great player pack deal. They are offering a player pack specific for Senior Divisions. Kind of an Early bird special? Not quite, but it is a sweet offer – for $10 you can get a Stock Champion or Star disc, Dew fly towel, Sticker, golf pencil, and a DGU coupon - $32 retail value. Just contact Dave George at Innova at least 30 days before event for sponsorship details. Project: Los Viejos player packs can be ordered as event gets closer.
For convenience there is no minimum order for the player packs. Need details contact Innova (East) 1-800-476-3968 directly ask for Dave George.
Have and event early in the contest cycle and just finding out about the contest? Still give Dave a call.
Eligible events include PDGA sanctioned events held between May 1st 2019 through November 30th 2019 that offer senior divisions. A "ticket" will be thrown in the hat for each player participating in an advertised PDGA senior division (MP50+…, FP50+…, MA50+… ). Might be a great time to add an age based event to the local schedule or just carve out some player spots for the "old ones". The more senior players at your event, the more chances to win.
Tournaments capitalizing on the righteous Innova Player Pack offer will automatically be entered in the drawing, other events will need to provide PDGA sanctioned event and TD name, event results, and TD contact information (email/phone) to the 50+ Disc Golf Club contest coordinator @ [email protected].
