On the same train of thought DX Viking is best disc for First sidearm driver for the same type of guys I mentioned above. Then graduate to a pro starfire.

It depends on the course, if it is more wooded and they are going to get a driver then definitely something like a Leo, XL, Sabre, etc. Though the course I consider home is unusually more fairway/ball golf style for this area and with 4 red tee holes over 400 and one shared red/blue that is around 525, I don't see the harm in recommending something like a Roadrunner or Avenger SS.

I'd go with S-line, G-line, Glow or 1st & 3rd run C-line FD. Still find their spots in your bag after you improve.
