The Winter Warmer Points Series, Event #1
Location: Brighton Recreation Area Chilson Woods Course
When: Sunday, November 4th, 2012
What: Two rounds of 18 holes from the short tees, extra temporary holes are being placed for the event, and some holes on site are modified for extra playability.
The Series:
The Corrigan Propane Winter Warmer Series is a non–sanctioned, points-based series of 8 events at 8 different courses in the area.
To participate in the series, there is a one-time participation fee, in the form of:
- the donation of 2 new or VERY slightly used discs, Elite-Z/Champion or better plastic OR
- $18 to purchase 2 discs into the series.
In addition to money from sponsors, these discs will be used for CTP's for series participants only and at the final event of the series.
Series calendar is as follows (all dates subject to change if necessary):
11/18/12 Rolling Hills
12/2/12 Ponds at Lakeshore
12/16/12 Independence Lake
1/13/13 TBD
1/27/13 Marion Township
2/10/10 Kensington
3/10/13 Series Finale at Hudson Mills
The Events:
Each event will have a $25 Entry Fee for all divisions, with a Player Pack valued at $12for all AM divisions
Entry fees remaining after player pack will be paid out at least 100%.
Optional Events:
- $1 Ace Pool, accumulating across events if there are no aces. If necessary, there will be a throw off at the final event.
- $1 50/50 Raffle
Cashless pre registration on www.discgolfscene.com.
The schedule for each event is as follows:
Registration 8:15 AM – 9:15 AM
Players Meeting 9:30AM
Tee off First round 9:50 AM
2nd round 1 PM (approximately)
