I'm posting this for a best friend of mine, who is also solely responsible for introducing me to the sport of disc golf and consequently all my fellow disced golfers. Nik and I have trained and lived through hell and broke a couple college records together.
Nik is not just attempting to swim the English Channel, but do it on his back! And do it in a World Record time. Only 3 people have completed this feat and the current record is 17 hours. Nik is also trying to raise funds for this event as it's expensive and also raise money for charity, WaterAid which helps provide clean water to areas in need.
