yea it is definitely unique. i'd like to go back and play it again, it was in pretty bad shape when i was there a few years ago. I wouldnt make a pilgrimage to play again but my dad lives a few miles away so I'll definitely play it again sometime. j-bolt is right though, how many courses have dunes and sand?

It's at the beach with camping nearby so it's got that going for it. Strongly suggest not playing it alone, you'll need a spotter.

You forgot to mention that you played with me yesterday and saw the armadillo for yourself. You thought I was making that story up. As you remember, we could smell that thing for several holes. You also saw the leaf made out of stones that they thought that I did,

Today when we played our local course something funny AND wierd happened. We came in on hole 3 and saw that a car was parked in the middle of the number 6 fairway, so i walked over to tell them to get of the course. I knocked on the window and the guy jumped and pulled something onto his lap and then opened the door. Turns out he was sitting the with some porn mags and was jerking of in the middle of the woods, i just laughed and told him to conduct his business elsewhere.

I didn't see this but a friend of mine did. A cop was buzzing through on a little golf cart at hiestand park through the disc course. As some guys were putting out a hole the cop drives up and starts honking at them to get them out of the way. Since there was nothing else the cop could do(and he was just being plain rude) all of the group he honked at took their sweet time putting out before letting him through.
