This is event 1 of a 3 event series that is intended to raise funds in support of our A-tier in Birmingham, The Magic City Mega Bowl.
Hole Sponsorships
At each event, if all 18 holes are sponsored, we will have a special drawing for a backpack bag just for the 18 hole sponsors!
Points breakdown:
10 points per event played
5 bonus points for playing all 3 events in the series
1 point for each competitor you beat in YOUR division
5 bonus points for 1st place finish
3 bonus points for 2nd place finish
1 bonus point for 3rd place finish
All players will be allowed to play the division they begin the series in, no matter their ratings updates over the course of the series.
Open players will play for cash only, to the top 40% of the field, per event.
Series trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place points leaders, in Open divisions that have participants in events 1 or 2. (Example - If the MP40 division has no participants in event 1 or 2, Series trophies will not be ordered for the MP40 division. Participants in the MP40 division would still receive cash payout at event 3 for the top 40% of the field)
Am players will receive a $10 player pack voucher for each event played.
Payout vouchers will be awarded, by event, to the top 50% of the field in each division.
Vouchers can be carried forward for each event, if desired. All vouchers must be used/redeemed by the end of Event 3 on June 6th, 2020.
Series trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place points leaders, in Amateur divisions that have participants in events 1 or 2. (Example - If the FA40 division has no participants in event 1 or 2, Series trophies will not be ordered for the FA40 division. Participants in the FA40 division would still receive payout at event 3 for the top 50% of the field)
There will be one Series Overall Points Winner trophy awarded at the end of Event 3, to the player that has accumulated the most points during the series. All divisions are eligible to win this trophy.
Rolling Ace Pot
If no Aces are hit during the round, we will throw off for half of the Ace Pot and the other half will roll to the next event. If no Ace is hit by the end of round 2 at Event 3, we will have a throw off for all remaining money in the Ace Pot.
Ace Pot will be paid out via electronic payment (PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, etc.) only.
