MH Series Vinyl Plotter w/ Basic VinylMaster Cut Software

So I am looking into getting this plotter which comes with VinylMaster Cut Software. Anyone have experience with one? They work well? need some deets.

I have an MH Series, excellent machine. However, mine came with SCAL Pro software. SCAL Pro is awesome. I have no experience with VinylMaster.

On a side note. Can someone explain how a plotter works? Does it just know to cut all lines inside and out? Do I tell it what to cut? Obviously it depends on the software. Will basic software usually work for what us disc dyers need?
