The first stop of the 2011 "Peaks and Valleys" points series is rapidly approaching!
Taking place on April, 2nd 2011 at Matchett Park in Grand Junction, CO, this will be the first of 8 tour stops ranging from April to October and covering a significant portion of Colorado's Western Slope.

The "Peaks and Valleys" points series is coming back to Colorado's Western Slope for a second year, kicking off with its first stop at Matchett Park in Grand Junction April 3rd.
These tournaments are a great opportunity to check out some of the best courses that western Colorado has to offer in a competitive but laid back atmosphere.
Tournament Schedule (subject to possible changes):
April 3rd (Saturday) Matchett Park - Grand Junction
April 24th (Sunday) Dolores River DGC - Gateway
May 28th (Saturday) Baldridge Park - Montrose
June 26th (Sunday) Eagle County Fairgrounds - Eagle
July 23rd (Saturday) CMC – Glenwood Springs
August 14th (Sunday) Fire Mountain DGC - New Castle
Sept. 17th (Saturday) Snooks Bottom - Fruita (New course, under construction)
October 9th (Sunday) Riverbend Park - Palisade (Point Series Awards Ceremony)
Divisions offered: Open, Open Master, Advanced, Advanced Master, Intermediate, Women, Juniors
Payouts: 88% payout at each tournament, 10% held for point series awards at end of season and 2% tournament expenses. Expenses will be held to a minimum so point series awards can be maximized.
Points: Each participant will receive one point for each tournament played and one point for each player they beat in their division at each tournament. This year we will also award bonus points to make things more interesting (10 for first, 8 for second, 6 for third, 4 for fourth, and 2 for fifth places for each tournament).
Series Awards: The top five tournament point totals will be used to determine series awards (attend 5 of the 8 tournaments).
Tournaments: 2 rounds of 18 holes (one day) – rounds/hole numbers may change depending on event.
Sign-up: We will not offer pre-registration sign up this year. Sign up will be the day of the tournament from 8:00 to 9:00 am. Players meetings will be at 9:45 with play starting as close to 10:00 as possible. Please make sure you are signed in for each tournament by 9:00 a.m. at the latest so we can make sure to have all of the score cards and groups set up in time to stay on schedule. Late arrivals will be severely punished!!
