Plastic Color and Dye Color

Ive seen that you should only use a darker color dye than the plastic you have. Are there ideal combinations? Or do you suggest buying light color discs (yellow, light green, light blue, orange, pink etc) for dying purposes

I dyed a couple orange champion discs and the dye held well and the color was dark but the green, blue and purple dyes all resulted in the strange color

Really it depends on what you're trying to dye. If you're trying to make full color art, or need something to be its true color, there's no substitute for a white canvas.

I try to get white for anything g color. If I dye on non white I ha e only used black. Though, I havnt done a lot myself. Everytime I see someone dye a charteuse with color it looks terrible.
