[Other] Post your most recent plastic purchase-Reboot

I decided to treat my self and purchase a day glow C Line TD, Glo Avenger SS, MJ signature series Comet, 400g FX2, and 2 first run PP Fierce's. Loving every single disc especially the Comet and FX2. I dont know why I haven't bagged a comet sooner. The FX2 is exactly what I needed in a fairway driver and feels so great in my hand. great purchase all around :hfive:

Well, I have been throwing my Neutron Envy quite a bit lately, and I like to have 2 of anything I am throwing, so I order a Coppertone Plasma Envy. You know the routine, may as well order a second disc as the freight is the same so I order a Gray Burst Pure in Zero Hard plastic that was on my bucket list. Man, I'm liking this Pure even more than the Envy that was the primary purpose of my order.

Just ordered a fresh Z Zone since I've noticed recently that my ESP zone of like 8 years has finally broken in and doesn't have the sudden hard fade a zone should have. It's crazy it took it that long but that old ESP plastic was the tits. Also picked up an old 11x firebird for cheap as well as a couple of old *D destroyers that have barely been thrown

I haven't played at a course since February, but I take my kid to the local park/field all the time and throw discs around.

Picked up this 138g Condor for extra-long MTA throws. Maybe I can hit the 12 second mark with this sucker!

Hope you got the legs to chase that.

If you do have the legs, I recommend a light Roc (we used to call it a "pebble")

I've been using a Gateway Doggy Style up until now, it's a fastback-style lid. I've gotten some 10-second throws but that's been the upper limit.

It's a workout for sure!! So much running. The last time we went out I was sore for 3 days, lol.

I don't know how much you want to really experiment, but a true fastback is the most fun.
I use to get discs for self caught flight from Discovering The World or Wright Life, maybe from Disc Golf World as well, probably got them well over 20 years ago through catalogs and magazines, well before the wwweb.

Picked up a 158g Glow Makani for an upcoming Superclass league opening this year. There don't seem to be many reviews of this thing. I'm guessing it turns over like a Sonic?

Funny you should mention that, I have been stalking listings for FB6's and FB3's for a while. You can get a new FB6 on Amazon for 7 bucks, I'll probably just toss one of those in my cart the next time I buy something.

The Makani is just a rebranded Zephyr. It will take a little more power than a Sonic in my experience.

Bought some new goodies from AGL. Really loving the Ponderosa and Baobab. When they release they're next disc I need to order some backup's as both of them found a way in my bag.

My order just showed up.

4 X-Line Comets @175 to match my current Comet

1 DX Wraith @170 to backup my current driver

1 Pro Wraith @158 to experiment with.

Kastaplast Stal K1Glow 2020
Kastaplast Gote K1Glow 2020

Got them for some night rounds.

These things are easily charged, and bright as heck. The glow beats all others hands down. The K1 plastic feels awesome. Grippy but still having clean releases.

STAL is like a gummy Star Firebird. Same flight numbers as a Firebird. It made my bag already. Pairing it with my 12x Ken Climo dyed Champion Firebird .

GOTE is rated 4/5/0/1. Some kind of hybrid midrange ? It requires a powered down - 70% throw to fly a Lazer beam., but will only come out at night for the time being. A little too sensitive on the speed and release thing. More field work needed to dial this one in.
My Opto Fuse and Explorers will remain safe
in the bag.

Recently, I've realized how great DX plastic is. It started with Rocs and Aviar3s, but I decided to give the TeeBird a try in DX since my Champion TeeBird is more stable than I'd like. Same story with my Rocs. None of them are beat-in enough to fill the understable role in my bag so I'm going to try the Cobra and Stingray. I also bought some backups to get free shipping.
DX Aviar3 165
DX Roc 175
DX Roc 176
DX Roc 177
DX Cobra 177
DX Stingray 175
DX TeeBird 169
All 7 for less than $60. That's the other reason to throw DX.

I had the same realization exactly. Got some dx rocs to beat in but until then, dx cobra seems to fly similar to what I'm expecting from a beat roc. Went with eagles because I heard they beat into long gliding turnover machines. Agree on the benefit of dx being cheap. All this was $50 with free shipping from Marshall street. Only I've I regret is that bt hard shield...I have another Bt hard shield but the plastic chalky and grippy. This one is hard and slick, not really feelings it.

I have been bagging a Justice for the most part since they came out and the one I have been using for a couple of years is finally starting to show some turn, so I wanted a new one. I don't usually go for pricy dyes and whatnot, but this was too good to pass up lol.

I just got a 165 gram 400g H1. I love it. It's super overstable even though it's lighter weight. The plastic is really grippy, one of my favorite blends. I got it for my OS fairway slot to replace a lost firebird. Great disc.

I have no issue adding to an already healthy supply of Buzzz. These new pearly white Big Z's look really great. Both are 177g+. The Big Z will enter my field practice rotation & the swirly ESP will sit in my collection because its too pretty to be thrown right now. The updated Big Z stamp is awesome. Im looking forward to see what the new Big Z Roach stamps looks like.

From what I could tell on the Discraft site Big Z Roach was not getting updated in the lineup. They had all the discs in a row and all that changed on him was that the whatever he is holding Cigar/handmade/joint on new stamp is now obviously 100% a Marijuana joint the way it is rolled.

I could be wrong and just 0% update on that Disc.
