The day I played Red Slide was after surviving a Temp course in a cow pasture, 20 something holes, little shade on a blazing Friday afternoon. So this was an easy bag!!
Here's how I played it - 3 putters to the short basket, 3 Mids to the middle one, and 3 fairways to the "long" basket. Then walked up and finished the putters, then I had them to finish on the middle basket, then all 6 to finish the long basket. So 9 "holes" pretty quickly done.
Agree with DGC, the view of the Haw River was pretty cool and it looks like they had more room in the park for a decent little niner.
