Hi Everyone.

I've been playing DG since christmas and I'm really struggling to improve my form. I was hitting about 70m but my accuracy was very inconsistent so I have been working to try and correct my rounding with advice from youtube videos.

In these 3 videos I am performing the same flat shot with a Mako3. I got about 45 meters with each shot in a rough hyzer shape.

Standstill again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW9IEztx6O0
Throw with a walk up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9n4eZ1LfChk

I'd love some advice on how to correct my form and get to the point where I am not rounding.

Thanks in advance!

1. Stance. You are setup pigeon toed instead of neutral/natural.

2. Power Pocket - hug the disc, don't hug yourself. Your right elbow is tucked down into your side and wrist is open pulling the disc on it's 12 o'clock/front edge. Note how my elbow is up and out leading the closed wrist and disc tucked behind the elbow with hand gripping the 9 or 8 o'clock on the disc/opposite of disc from chest. You want to keep your grip more on the outside edge instead of the leading edge to sling the disc around like a hammering a nail or throwing a stick. Keep your eyes on your disc and pay attention to how you swing your arm/disc.

I would recommend starting with the first link grip and wrist and go down the list with power of posture and slash thru and stop hugging yourself.

Thank you so much for your generous response.

I'll get to work on correcting some of those early ideas such as grip and posture. I'll check back in a week or so with my progress. Thanks again!
