Rip finger is killing me (rhbh)

Also sometimes when powergripping drivers, when the disc rips out of my hand, I somehow smash the nail of my thumb into my index finger really hard (leaves a clear mark in the finger). Luckily this doesn't happen often but I do try to keep the nail as short as possible to avoid wounding my finger. Do you guys have ever had that issue with the nail?

I sometimes have the opposite issue with the index finger nail going into the thumb joint.

I had the same problems when I started throwing. Since I've played a bunch in the last few months I've developed a nice new callase on my finger. Still gets tender from time to time though. I found that it all started when I was throwing newer discs that had a sharper edge to it.
