This little practice shot, has really helped my game. Something in my form just clicked from watching it, and practicing it (trying anyway)!

Can you experts weigh in and explain why it's so sublime? And how I can take the smoothness and rythm to my full shots? Thanks!

Yep I practice that shot in my backyard everyday. Works well for me from like 125 to 200ft

I used to reach back a lot farther than Seppo does. When I shortened everything up, my form was much more powerful, yet relaxed. I'm nowhere near the level he does it, but this is a revelation to me. Wondering if it will translate to my full shots?!

I wonder what the purpose is of swinging his left arm after the throw is completed.

Seppo says: all pros practice taking a few similar discs with them and have some exercise. This time Seppo was throwing PA3-discs to the middle of the field. He says that this is a good way to practice different kind of shots!

Does he/they do any similar drills with discs that are pretty different?

Seppo says in this video, that the idea is to take few discs which are similar and then to have some drill. In this case he was throwing as close as possible towards the centre of the field. This drill was so to speak just an example, if I understand him correctly. He didn't say whether he was doing similar drills with discs that are pretty different. Distance was ca. 45 m.
