Iowa has lots of open spaces. A number of good courses here are a mix of open and wooded. With maybe the exception of the first 2, there are open holes on most of these....
Next time you sneak across the IA/NE border you need to play Hummel. Less than a mile from the bluffs of the Missouri River, it is HEAVILY wooded. You'll feel like you teleported to somewhere other than Nebraska/Iowa.
I was quite surprised by that course...incredibly fun, with some GREAT lines.
Hoping to pass 300 courses and add a few more states this year. Health willing, creek don't rise, etc.
Nice map! And congratulations on completing all of New England! I envy all of the places that you've been.Done and done! Passed 300 and added NY, NH, VT, and ME to clear out the northeast states.

How many states have you played now?
And I'm curious, what is your current closest unplayed state? It appears that they are now getting much farther away for you to reach.
Bonus question: Which is closer to you... Prince Edward Island Canada or Iowa?
yall need to click off the other colors so we can just see the courses played
What's wrong with a little color?
As long as you don't see yellow, they're all played.
Orange = played
Green = reviewed
Blue = favorited
Here's my map 125 courses in. Some hopeful plans for the next year to 18 months:
- Finish/catch up on the St. Louis and Quincy regions - just a final few courses I have yet to play.
- A second visit to Eagle's Crossing next month.
- A visit to see friends in Vermont that hopefully results in some new courses bagged (Smuggler's??).
- Weekend trip to either Peoria or Kansas City. Hopefully both.
