Just FYI, anyone going on a ski/snowboard trip looking to throw some plastic at the same time on a snow free course, then South Lake Tahoe and the Carson Valley is the place to go!! Due to an incredible shadow effect from the Sierra mtns, the Pine Nuts DGC in Gardnerville, NV is snowfree 99% of the time and is just 30 minutes from the Nevada side of Heavenly Ski resort on top of Kingsbury Grade and just 45 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Temps down in the valley are not to bad either with the highs usually between 45-55.
