The St. Louis Disc Golf Club, the River City Flyers, is registered as a non-profit (not sure of its exemption status, be it 501(c)3 or other) and has had over 500 annual-dues paying members for the last several years.
We have 340 2012 Members currently signed up.

Well, we are super energetic and enthusiastic!
we're pretty small here in northern va. nova disc golf sold ~ 80 tags last year and loco disc golf club has sold ~ 20 2012 tags, and its our first year of existence. loco is in the process of applying for 501c, nova has talked about obtaining it's 501c but that's pretty much all it has been.

I believe besides LOCO that Spotsy DG club in Spotsylvaina VA is the smallest in VA. We have about 30ish members last year.
