What started out as a introduction in to XCode has turned in to a kind of obsession. I have been planning on learning XCode so I could see if I can develop an iPhone app of our local club and courses. You don't realize how much artwork that includes.
It started out doing digital tee signs of Loriella park...
I basically took digital images of the actual tee signs at the course and cut out the hole layout and created a new look.
Then the obsession began to kick in and I did the 27 Hawk Hollow holes...
I used Google Earth to create a lot of these signs. John Biscoe let me know of any mistakes I may have made.
I ended up doing the Pratt Park signs. These I had to do from scratch. I ended up walking the course taking about 100 images of each hole. I also used a 360° image app which really helped.
Now comes the fun part. Creating the pages in the app software for each course. That will include an overall map and each tee sign with a small description of the best way to play the hole.
I was able to create really good course web pages for the Spotsy Club web site...
