This is the Inaugural Flying Tiger Open, a fundraiser tournament benefiting Project 4 Hope, a project of the Ouachita Regional Veterans Association. This project is constructing transitional housing on a 7.4 acre plot of land in Arcadia for homeless veterans. Players from across Louisiana, we urge you to come out and help those who have sacrificed for our freedom!!!
Entry will be $100 per team (or $50 per player). Any team providing a cumulative $200 in cash sponsorship plays free!!! Anyone wanting a players pack that cannot attend can purchase for $50 plus any S&H required for delivery. Deadline is July 31 for t-shirt signup in order to get the correct number and sizes of shirts ordered. We will still sign up people after that date. However, we can't guarantee size.
Bring your own partner doubles with best shot format is what we will play. One round on Blue, one round on Green. 2 teams per hole so things run cleanly, quickly and smoothly. Everyone gets a players pack. This is a TROPHY ONLY event. Trophies awarded to first, second and third place in each division.
Registration is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Meeting at 9:15 Start time 9:30. Chennault Park is the place.
