We are excited to present the 12th Annual Discers-4-Whiskers(R) pet food fundraiser on September 3rd 2022 at The Crossing DGC in Kernersville NC!! Once again we will have a BYOP (Bring Your Own Partner) format and this year we are also offering disc golf teams, men's AND the inagural USDGC for ladies teams the option of qualifying for the USDGC Doubles in Rock Hill SC!!!
This year we are going to shake things up a little bit and we are going to have two events with shotgun starts! Our "cool cats" morning event will feature a BYOP (Bring Your Own Partner) with a 9:30am start playing 19 holes from all white tees. Our "top dogs" USDGC 2pm round will be 18 holes from the blue tees and one last chance for men's AND ladies inagural doubles teams to qualify for the USDGC Doubles in Rock Hill SC!!!
The "cool cat" entry fee this year is $30* per player or $60 per team plus a bag of pet food per player. For the "top dog" teams qualifying for the USDGC Doubles the entry fee is $45 per player or $90** per team. We will also have an optional putting skills contest for an additional $10 entry fee with a 50% payout to our contest participants and the other 50% will be used to procure pet food. All players are invited to test your putting skills any time during the day of the event and participants will have a chance to win some cash and help raise money to feed critters. Putting stations will be marked from 25ft, 35ft and 45ft and players will have a total of 15 putts from their station(s) of choice. Made putts from station #1 are worth 2 points. Made putts from station #2 are worth 4 points and made putts from station #3 are worth 6 points. The top three scores will split 50% of the total money raised in the putting skills contest. The player with the most total points will win 25%, second place will receive 15% and third place will receive 10% of the total funds raised. Putting skills contest payment can be made the day of the event.

USDGC Qualifier Requirements:

o Player has an Amateur Player Classification with the PDGA - meaning the player is classified as an amateur and plays in amateur divisions for prizes instead of cash. If a player plays in a Pro division and accepts cash at any time, they become classified as a Professional member. An Amateur class player has either never accepted cash, or if they have, they have later met the criteria to be reclassified from Professional back to Amateur with the PDGA.
· A mixed group of pro and am class players is not allowed.
· Players who qualify as a team must play together as a team in the main event. No substitutions no exceptions.
· All qualified players must register online by Sunday, September 11th. No exceptions.
