Weirdest place you've found a disc?

An old abandoned baseball field while riding my 4-wheeler in BFE and the nearest course was an hour away.

I found an X Stratus on the first tee on my home course, in just horrible condition.

And one time, my friend and I tossed a few on this hole that had horrible weeds, some as tall as me. We were picking up our discs and he couldn't find one, so we looked high and low and couldn't find it, so we decided to leave and when he lifted up his bag, he found it was under his bag the entire time. I was pretty pissed

Found a bag of cheap discs just sitting on a tee pad with no one around. What's weird is we were playing night golf, and it was about midnight at the time. We decided to play a few more holes and come back to see if it was still there, I don't think we saw anyone else the whole time.

I had a friend who inherited a porn collection that way. Woke up in the morning, opened the door, and bam, bag o' porn sitting on his doorstep.

Ahh, the porn fairy 8)
I'll use a lot of stuff I get second-hand, but I have a firm "new porn only" policy. If the porn fairy comes to my place, that stuff better be wrapped in the original plastic.

Reminds me of a story. A few years ago, I had a friend that was having trouble finding a job after graduation. After about 6 months of living in his parents basement, a friend of mine and I sent him a care package. In the package was a 10 year old hard drive, an egg salad sandwich from a vending machine (ala News Radio), a bunch of random crap, and a copy of Latin Inches on top. He opens it right in front of both of his parents. They still think he is gay to this day.

I found a disc just sitting the middle of a fairway that my Dad had lost a course about 3 1/2 hours away about a year or so before I found it. I proceded to throw it in a pond

I found one last week lying completely open in a (mostly) dry stream bed that runs the length of a hole here.

*Anyone* walking by that spot could have easily seen it. I even looked around for players on nearby holes because it was too obvious.

Before I got into DG I'd occasionally find discs just laying in weird places. I found an eagle in a storm drain and a JLS in a creek at a park that has no DG course.

Also found a roc in a pine tree at another park with no DG course.

In terms on on-course finds you name it and I have found it. In creeks, stuck in trees, in weeds, even in plain sight.

Found a basically brand new Star Boss out in the open about 30 feet behind a basket, and in plain view as you were walking from the teepad to the basket on a later hole.

Never found one in a really odd place myself, though my friend found a beaten and warped Vortex on a recreational trail nowhere close to a course recently.

This is the type of find that I leave there... I figure no one is dumb enough to "lose" it there so eventually they'll come back for it... then again I picked one up that was laying in the middle of the street so I guess you never know.

In my own backyard, a good 2km from nearest course. No one else plays from my neighbourhood, or at least i don't know any players.

Repeat after me: I will not touch discs after Koskenkorva :) It's Finnish vodka for those who don't know the brand.

I found a SE Soft Rhyno in my friend's backyard last year. It did not have a single scuff, cut or bit of dirt on it. It was like someone bought it and stored it for years, and then just set it in his yard that night. Asked him and the neighbors about it and none of them play or knew about it. Score for me! Come to find out they are worth quite a bit of cash too!

No mystery there. Someone was bailing on that POS after it destroyed their round.

I was in college in the early 90's and we used to play object golf around campus with regular frisbees. One day I found a Rubber Putter in the grass somewhere. I didn't really know what it was, but I knew it was made for frisbee golf so I was sure my game was about to be transformed. I reared back and tried to throw it really far but was shocked to see that it didn't go nearly as far as my normal frisbee. I was pissed and decided it was a piece of crap so I left it there. At least 12 years went by before I ever played a real DG course and learned about the differences in different kinds of discs.
