Who is the best Open player to never be sponsored?

Random thought to come to me as I was watching a filmed round late last night. I know there are some fantastic young players on the come up but im talking more about long term players. Guys that have been playing for years that for whatever reason have never been sponsored. I also know there are those guys that have all the talent in the world but don't play tournaments, but I mean guys that do show up to play PDGA sanctioned events.

TLDR Who is the best Open player that actually plays PDGA tournaments that have been around for years to never be sponsored?

Possibly Darrell Nodland in North Dakota. Not sure he was ever sponsored.

Sponsorship doesn't quite have the 'prestige' that it once did...just saying...but I'd also go with Nodland (being perhaps the highest rated player who, I think, isn't).
