Wooden Disc Golf Basket

Because I love woodworking and disc golf so much, why wouldn't I build a wooden basket?

I've made a couple for local courses' practice basket. They are built to PDGA dimensions and the beaver sticks catch discs just fine. If anyone is interested, I could post some DIY instructions. Although most of it is simple math and common sense.

And could someone tell me how to rotate the attached pictures.

Must get a lot of spit throughs with the "chains" being horizontal. ;)

Looks like a really fun project and your end result looks phenomenal! Great work, Viking.

Reminds me of the wooden basket at Phantom Falls in Pine, Colorado.

I love the uniquess and creativity!

I'm curious how it would handle a full power-ish shot... would the beaver sticks just give way or would they be comparable to chains in that case..?

Now That's Cool! While sweetie's out of town, I've been looking for a project to keep me out of the bars at night. Thanks for the inspiration.
