Don't sleep on this Little Bear

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jun 2, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

Red Innova baskets stand out, they also have a next tee arrow inside the basket well pointing to the next teeing area making it easy to navigate.

Many challenging holes. I really liked Hole # 13 the best. It's reachable from the tee, but there's water to the right and a little blind hill that one has to go over to get to the basket. I don't have the arm to reach most of the baskets, but it was fun trying at this course.

A disc shouldn't damage the artificial greens, and most holes either play over the green or the green shouldn't be in play.

This facility is for golfers, How many Disc Golfers have friends that don't play Disc Golf and how many Disc Golfers don't play golf. Here @ Little Bear one can share the fairways and play stick and Disc Golf together.

Many holes that water comes into play for both styles of golf.

Well groomed

Rest rooms available

Cons:

Some of the baskets IMHO needed more mowed areas around the baskets, but I didn't have any major issues finding a shot that went off the fairway.

No basket on the island hole (I imagine the designer wasn't allowed to, maybe it will happen in the future or a tournament)

Other Thoughts:

This facility has it all!!

$5 to play is fine for me to play @ this golf club.

Facility also has a sweet miniature golf course

fun basic open course

Reviewed: Played on:May 17, 2024 Played the course:once

Pros:

easy to navigate,
plays around a manicured small golf
course
can see baskets from tees
relatively hard to lose discs if you avoid water

Cons:

grass tee pads, only painted
lots of water, but easily avoidable
can be some people playing golf if weather is good you need to share course

Other Thoughts:

great spot to throw casually with not a ton of shot variety. i think of it as a less frustrating intro course
